Our office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday with the exception of major holidays. During normal office hours our staff is available for scheduling appointments, clinical inquiries and prescription refills.

Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday during normal office hours. Schedules appointments can sometimes change due to emergencies and procedure schedules at the hospital.

When coming for your appointment, please bring the following:


  • Insurance cards
  • Necessary co-payments due at your visit
  • List of current medications

Our business office representatives are available during office hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to assist you with questions you may have about your bill. We strongly encourage you to bring any special needs to our attention. Our central business office telephone number is 706-724-3473 or for out-of-area calls 800-440-6801 We are here to help you with your billing questions. On every visit to the Augusta Cardiology Clinic, please bring your insurance cards with you. When checking-in at the Augusta Cardiology Clinic, please provide the staff with any changes that have occurred to your account.

The Augusta Cardiology Clinic participates with Medicare and will bill Medicare for the services we provide. As a courtesy, the Augusta Cardiology Clinic will bill your secondary insurance. Augusta Cardology Clinic also is a provider for Georgia and South Carolina Medicaid.

The Augusta Cardiology Clinic participates with many managed care plans in the area. We are network providers for most major health insurers in the Augusta area including: Blue Cross Blue Shield/Georgia and South Carolina, Aetna U.S. Healthcare, Cigna, University Health Link, Columbia Health net, St Joseph Health Services, United Healthcare. Please be sure to bring any co-payment requirement and deductible with you at the time of visit so we may properly settle your account. As a convenience, we accept MasterCard and Visa as well as cash and personal checks. If your health plan is not listed, please contact us.

Should your insurance carrier withhold payment or partial payment of your claim for any reason, we will be glad to assist you in obtaining an explanation from them. The Augusta Cardiology Clinic cannot guarantee payment of your claim. The Augusta Cardiology Clinic cannot be responsible for negotiating fees or claims with insurance companies or any other entity. Patients are responsible for payment of medical care within a reasonable time, regardless of status of the claim. If circumstances warrant an extended payment plan, your business office representative is available to assist you with such arrangements. Please contact the office prior to your appointment. You will receive a monthly statement showing all charges up to and including the current month. These statements will cover all services provided both in our office and at the hospital by our physicians. All patients with a current balance will continue to receive monthly statements until the account is cleared.
